Middle of Somewhere Series

In the Middle of Somewhere (Middle of Somewhere, #1)In the Middle of Somewhere by Roan Parrish
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have been rereading some favorites during the pandemic, and this is excellent. I am so glad that I revisited it. It’s raw, honest, and emotional. The characters make mistakes and learn from those, and each other.

I went ahead and splurged and bought the next two on Audible, since I just really want to finish the series this time around and can’t seem to get copies from the libraries.

PREVIOUS REVIEW:
Probably my favorite M/M romance of all time, and I will definitely revisit this one.

Pages: 350

Out of Nowhere (Middle of Somewhere, #2)Out of Nowhere by Roan Parrish
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A tough, painful read full of difficult but authentic moments. It leans hard towards the dark side, with glimpses of hopefulness.

Where We Left Off (Middle of Somewhere, #3)Where We Left Off by Roan Parrish
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love that nobody is perfect. The characters unintentionally do things that are ill-advised or that sabotage themselves and their own happiness. I love that it’s messy, and real, and challenging. I love that it doesn’t all wrap up in a perfect pretty bow, and that growth takes time. I love it, because it is honest, raw, and completely authentic.
