Just Start

At the front of every brainstorming sketchbook, I always write myself one piece of advice while I’m excited and motivated (or terrified). Then I can look back on it when I’m struggling.
This is for the current novel. I was browsing back through all my ideas for this story, to try to find the spark again. It turns out this was the most helpful thing I wrote, and I’m sure a million other people said it first and better.

However, it reminded me that writing is a journey that I want to be on, but I can’t be on it if I let all the chaos outside of my head wreak havoc on all the beautiful chaos inside my head. So I’m going to restart this novel somewhere. Anywhere. Because past Becky was on to something that current Becky forgot. #NaNoWriMo
