Review: All Our Yesterdays

All Our YesterdaysAll Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

For no good reason at all, I decided I wasn’t into time travel books. Boy, am I an idiot. This is fan-freaking-tastic. It’s an action-packed thriller full of twists, turns, and surprises.

However, it’s also a story about humanity, relationships, love, and how the way we draw the lines around our values and morals defines who we become and what we do. Choices compound on top of each other, one after the other, and sometimes, people find themselves in an entirely different place from where they started and thought they were headed. This story explores how step by step, choice by choice, we can become someone we never could have guessed and possibly no longer recognize.

Also, why did I think reading a time travel story would be lame? I grew up on Quantum Leap and Back to the Future, not that this is necessarily anything like those. It just goes to show how making assumptions about books can be foolish.
