Book Review: Copyright A Novel by Lori Lesko

Copyright A Novel by Lori Lesko
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I’ve know the author through Twitter for a few months and volunteered to read her novel. There was absolutely nothing in it for me, except the chance to read the book before others got to read it. These are my honest opinions.

I read the novel blind, which means I didn’t bother to read the synopsis or description ahead of time. I really like to be surprised, and I was. This is a smart, well-written novel that was easy to read and kept me on the edge of my seat. The characters are interesting and well-developed. The pacing is good, and the author has a unique voice.

Amber, the main character, faces both internal and external battles. She’s a writer, and what happened to her horrifies my inner-writer. There were many twists and turns along the way, and I couldn’t, for the life of me, guess what was going to happen next. Honestly, I didn’t even want to. I just wanted to flip the page and enjoy the unexpected journey.

I’m very happy to have been one of the first to get to read this story, and I hope that you’ll be the next to read it.
